Other Areas of Interest.
In addition to being the an advisor and owner of CBL Wealth Management, Chris is involved in the local non-profit community. Chris has served on the board of director for The Academy for Grassroots Organizations for 15 years and currently holds the position of “immediate past chair”. As immediate past chair, Chris’ role is to increase individual donor support and chair the strategic planning committee.
Chris has been a life-long Boy Scout, he earned the Rank of Eagle in 1989 and remained active in his support of the Boy Scout Program since. His two boys have also earned the rank of Eagle and his oldest daughter is a scout in Venture Crew 257 where she is an active leader and trainer. Chris currently serves as an advisor for Boy Scout Crew 257.
Chris is also a partner/owner in The Shaving Cadre Forum, a web forum dedicated to the wet shaving hobby. The forum was built to provide a safe place for men and women who share similar interest to interact and share ideas. While TSC is primarily a wet shaving community, other areas of interest such as fountain pens, watches, haberdashery and food/diet are often discussed. *CBL Wealth Management does not provide any investment related content to this forum.
On September 1, 2018 Chris turned a soap making hobby into a business by starting CBL Premium Shave Soap (CBLsoap.com) a retail site for premium tallow shaving soap. His soaps have received rave reviews among the traditional shaving community. As an advisor, Chris has helped many of his clients explore turning passion into profit. CBLsoap.com is a demonstration of his advice in action.
